Carolee and Don Dial

Don L. Dial and Carolee Dial of Clearfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Feb. 9.

They were married on Feb. 8, 1963.

Both were born in Idaho. After serving in the Air Force for four years, two of them in France, he served an LDS mission in Mexico for more than two years. She served an 18-month mission in the southern states. Though both were living in Utah at the time, they met at a fireside in Idaho. They continued living in Utah and raised a family of six children. He is retired from Hill Air Force Base. She was a homemaker and worked part time using her financial skills.

They served a mission together in Billings, Mont.

Both are known in their church and their community for service, stewardship and being outstanding citizens. They are active members of their church.

Their children and spouses are Todd and Michelle Dial, Troy and Jana Dial, James and Marnie Batchelor, Zan and Jolynn Hughes, Matt and Shareen Youngberg, and Ben and Kayla Peterson. They are the grandparents of 22 and great-grandparents of one.
