ROY — The Grizzlies outscored the Royals 14-6 in the second quarter and finished Wednesday’s Region 5 regular-season on a 13-4 run.
Logan’s Jordan Larsen hit five 3-pointers and scored 25 points to lead a 58-32 road victory.
No other Logan player reached double figures, but as a team the Grizzlies splashed in seven 3-pointers.
Roy trailed by only five after the end of the first quarter but the Royals never could get any closer.
Brekkott Champman led the Royals with 22 points.
• BOX ELDER 72, SKY VIEW 69: At Brigham City, Shad Watson hit five 3-pointers and the Bees scored 30 points in the first quarter to top Sky View in an offensive showdown.
Watson, a junior guard, scored 36 points and teammate Tyler Bate scored 18 to pace Box Elder.
Sky View scored 23 points in the first quarter but was held to just 10 in the second.
The Bobcats were led by Jalen Moore, who scored 25. Teammate Ty Nielsen added 22 and Matt Dewey had 11.
• MOUNTAIN CREST 56, BONNEVILLE 41: At Hyrum, the Mustangs outscored the Lakers 27-13 in the first half then held on for a home victory.
Tanner Knowles hit three 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for Mountain Crest. Teammate Tyler Crosbie added 12.
The Lakers were led by Mason Rich, who scored 17, and Carson Smtih, who had seven.
Bonneville scored 25 points in the second half.
• LAYTON CHRISTIAN 94, MOUNT VERNON 22: At Murray, the Eagles easily soared over Mount Vernon with a 72-point victory.
LCA got 18 points from Leroy Sisnett and 13 from Duce Namazi.
The Eagles used 12 players in the blowout victory, playing their starters only a few minutes before clearing the bench.
They outscored the Patriots 26-4 in the first quarter and led 54-7 at halftime.
