Infrastructure project awarded

SYRACUSE -- An Ogden company has been awarded a bid to undertake one of the city’s largest infrastructure projects for approximately $2.7 million.

In action taken recently, the city council formally awarded the bid for road improvement and other infrastructure improvements at 2500 West and 700 South to Advanced Paving and Construction. Advanced was one of 10 bidders for the work, according to Robert Whitely, public works director.

Work should be completed in the area by August, Whitely said.
