OGDEN -- Police had little to go on in investigating a Wednesday night stabbing.
Around 7:10 p.m., police were called to McKay-Dee Hospital where a 22-year-old man from Layton was being treated for a stab wound to the right side of his chest, Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox said.
He was interviewed by police before being released from the hospital.
The man told police he came Wednesday night to Ogden and met two women on 24th Street, with whom he had communicated previously on Facebook.
The man said he followed the women to a party in Ogden, and at some point felt pain, looked down and noticed he was bleeding from the chest.
When questioned by police, he was unable to, or wouldn't, give a description of the women or their vehicle, said Fox. He also didn't provide a location for the party or give a description of the suspect or offer a reason he was stabbed.
Of the ongoing investigation Fox said, "Of course we will investigate what we can."
