PROVO -- Provo police say a 69-year-old bicyclist died after he was hit by a car and then a FrontRunner commuter train.
The Daily Herald says a family member identified the victim as Douglas Crow.
Police say a Cadillac SUV apparently pushed the man into the path of a Frontrunner train as it was leaving a Provo station early Friday.
The man died an hour later at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. Train service from Provo was shut down for four hours.
The man's son, Mel Crow, says his father had taken the day off from work and was testing out a bicycle hitched to a cart.
