Museum bill headed to Herbert’s desk

SALT LAKE CITY — A bill changing the makeup of the Utah State Museum Authority has cleared the Senate and is headed to the governor’s desk.

Under the bill, the board would include more members from Weber County, adding a representative from Union Station and one from Ogden.

HB 70 was sponsored by Rep. Jeremy Peterson, R-Ogden, and by Sen. Peter Knudson, R-Brigham City.
