CEDAR CITY -- One man is dead and is a woman injured after a standoff at a home in southern Utah.
The Spectrum of St. George reports that Cedar City police went to the home just before 2 p.m. Friday.
The SWAT team was sent, and police began talking with a "person of interest" about what was happening in the house. After a brief standoff, police went inside and found one man dead and a woman injured.
The woman has been taken to a nearby hospital.
Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased man.
