Lee Price

Lee Price of North Ogden celebrated his 80th birthday with a family dinner at Maddox Ranch House Restaurant last week.

He was born on Feb. 13, 1933, in Ogden, a son of O.L. “Ott” and Marvel Martin Price.

The family moved to North Ogden when he was a small boy. He attended North Ogden Elementary School, North Ogden Junior High School and graduated from Weber High School in 1951. He also attended Weber State College and Stevens-Henager College.

He worked for the city of Ogden and then joined his father and brothers in the trucking industry. He worked for W.R. White Co. and Tramcor Trucking until he retired in 1998.

He is a member of the Elks Lodge, No. 719. He was a member of the Ogden Pineview Yacht Club, where he was commodore for four years and on the board of directors for 20 years. He spent many years boating on Pineview Reservoir with family and friends. He now enjoys gardening and spending time with his family.

He married Nelda Graham on March 4, 1960, in Eden.

Their three daughters and spouses are Kim and Scott Felter of North Ogden; Tracy and James Threlkeld of Livermore, Calif.; and Tara and Todd John of Pleasant View. They have four granddaughters, three grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
