ST. GEORGE -- A Utah man accused in a deadly aggravated assault has been arrested in California.
St. George Police announced Monday afternoon that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office has arrested 31-year-old Mario Alfonso Lucero.
Police say Lucero is a suspect in the assault Saturday of 31-year-old Jeramy Shawn Olsen in St. George.
Olsen was flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he died from significant head injuries.
St. George police say Lucero has been booked into jail on two Utah warrants, one for aggravated assault and another for a parole violation.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more details will be released Tuesday.
