2nd person dies from S. Utah shooting

CEDAR CITY -- A second person has died after a standoff last week at a home in southern Utah.

Cedar City police say 59-year-old Diann Bailey died Tuesday morning of gunshot injuries, after she'd been airlifted to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

The 52-year-old Jeffery Lane Hardy was found dead at the scene of the shooting.

Police who responded to reports of a suicidal man about 2 p.m. Friday say they found 54-year-old Thad Robertson outside the home.

He was later arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, possession of a deadly weapon by a restricted person and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cedar City police say they're still investigating the case, and Robertson is their only suspect.
