Letter writer's view seems anti-Catholic

Editor,

I’m writing regarding the letter of Feb. 26, “Pope’s resignation due to impending arrest?” I’m so offended. The Standard-Examiner can’t hide behind a heading posed as a question, and I’m certain the letter writer is no expert on Catholic papacy. The implication of all the references in the article were negative; falsehoods thrown out in the wind to see if any stick.

Anti-Catholic? Is this an attempt to get readers to question the motives of Pope Benedict, and cast the shadow of doubt on the Catholic Church during a very critical time when the papal conclave selects the next pope.
