Myers named to funeral committee

ROY — Richard Myers, from Myers Funeral Home, will serve on the National Funeral Directors Association Pursuit of Excellence Committee.

As a member, Myers will assist with the promotion and administration of the association’s Pursuit of Excellence Award program, which he helped establish during his term as president of the assocition.

He will be responsible for reviewing program entries, mentoring new participants, assiting with recruitment and retention of program participants, as well as maintaining the integrity of the program.
