OGDEN — A man in his mid-50s stabbed himself in the chest outside of the 2nd District Juvenile Court building, 444 26th St., Monday afternoon.
The stabbing was reported at 2:18 p.m. Ogden Police Lt. Chad Ledford said the man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
A police investigation is under way. Police did not identify the man late Monday and no other details were available about his condition.
Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox said the man had failed to appear at a custody hearing in court earlier that day.
