Brigham City Library offering gardening classes

BRIGHAM CITY -- The Brigham City Library is offering more than books this month — patrons can check out a series of classes about gardening.

Classes are at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, in the library at 26 E. Forest St.

• March 13 — “Water Wise Trees and Shrubs for your Garden,” by Glen Bradbury of Alpine Gardens.

• March 20 — “Colorful Annual and Perennial Combinations,” by Barney Barnett of Willard Bay Gardens.

• March 27 — Dan Fox talks about vegetable gardening in Brigham City.

Admission is free, and participants are encouraged to bring notebooks and questions.
