Ogden SUP to meet at noon Monday

The Ogden Pioneer Chapter Sons of the Utah Pioneers is meeting at noon Monday at Comfort Suites Inn, 2250 S. 1200 West.

Theo Maisey and Richard L. Carter will speak about 21st-century pioneers.

Maisey was born in Mendon, Utah. He attended North Cache High School, Weber State University and University of Utah. He worked as a programmer/analyst and has a long history of service with the LDS Church. His early ancestor was Daniel Maisey, a great-great-grandfather who was a member of the Martin Handcart Company.

Richard L. Carter, born in Ogden, was a teacher and principal in the Ogden School District for 32 years and has a long history of service in the LDS Church. He attended Weber High School, Utah State University and WSU.

Potential members are welcome. The cost of one meeting for potential members is paid for by the chapter. For other guests, there is a $12.50 charge.
