Water works speaker scheduled at WSU

OGDEN -- Craig Childs is set to speak at Weber State University.

On Thursday, March 14, Childs, a commentator for National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition,” presents “Unbroken Waters: Adventures on a Fluid Planet” as part of the university’s ongoing “Water Works” series. The lecture starts at noon in the Allred Theater of the Browning Center on campus, 3848 Harrison Blvd.

Childs was born in Arizona but now lives in Colorado. He’s authored several books and articles on nature, science, and adventure, and won the 2011 Ellen Meloy Desert Writers Award.
