OGDEN -- A man with a criminal drug history is again facing drug charges.
Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox said Shad Deon Stirdivant, 47, was pulled over around 10:50 p.m. Sunday near 28th Street and Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of DUI.
Police found cocaine and cash in Stirdivant's possession.
Stirdivant has been charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone with intent to distribute, a first-degree felony, court documents show. Emmanuel Church of God in Christ is about a block from where Stirdivant was arrested.
Stirdivant had been charged with drug-related crimes, most recently in 2003 when he pleaded guilty in 2nd District Court to possession with intent to distribute a counterfeit substance and arranging to distribute a counterfeit substance, both second-degree felonies.
Stirdivant is scheduled to appear today in 2nd District Court in Ogden.
