SALT LAKE CITY -- Four months after she narrowly lost a Utah congressional race to Democrat Jim Matheson, Republican Mia Love says she is "seriously looking" at another run for the seat.
While attending the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C., over the weekend, Love told The Salt Lake Tribune (http://bit.ly/Yh64E7) that she hasn't made a decision yet but said she's ready to fight for Matheson's seat again.
She says she's learned from her first bid and would do some things differently the next time.
Love has hired a Republican strategist who ran Sen. Orrin Hatch's most recent reflection campaign.
Matheson says he's surprised Love is already looking at the 2014 election. He says it's too early to talk about the next election and says the focus should be on issues, not politics.
