WOODS CROSS CITY -- A small single-engine, single-seat plane made a crash landing at Skypark Airport Monday, with the male pilot walking away.
The 66-year-old pilot, Andre Kostrzewa, was in the process of landing the plane when it flipped and crashed, South Davis Metro Fire Deputy Chief Jeff Bassett said.
"(The pilot) had cuts and scrapes on his legs, but he refused medical treatment at the scene," Bassett said.
The cause of the accident at this time is unknown, Bassett said.
Woods Cross Police and officials from the Federal Aviation Administration are conducting the investigation, Bassett said.
The accident occurred at about 1 p.m.
