Pols should pass common sense test before election

Editor,

Our Legislature has once again proved beyond any doubt that they are profiles in idiocy. To allow people to carry concealed weapons without background checks is right up there with the airlines allowing small knives, golf clubs, hockey sticks, etc., to be carried onto airplanes.

Come on governor, don’t straddle the fence on the concealed weapons bill. It’s a no-brainer. Veto, veto, veto. In the future, we really should have a mandatory common-sense test that all candidates running for public office be required to pass.
