A Great Shake Out event is being planned for Wednesday, April 17, according to Dewey Dipoma.
He said he is part of the Weber County Emergency Communication Team and will work with the county and Pleasant View.
Dipoma said he will check on the ham radio in the Pleasant View City offices periodically and said there are now three people assigned to be ham radio operators for the Pleasant View Building.
“On April 17, as part of the Great Shake Out, a drill for all communities in the county will take place sometime in the evening,” said Dipoma, “A communication team will enter the building after hours.”
Dipoma said he encouraged council members to get more information and work as a team on the Great Shake Out.
