OGDEN -- A 41-year-old Ogden woman died at an Ogden hospital early Sunday morning after she crashed her vehicle into a light pole and then into a parked vehicle.
Ogden Duty Lt. Will Cragun said the woman was driving southbound on the 2000 block of Harrison Boulevard when she drove over a curb, hit a light pole and then crashed into a 2004 Cadillac Escalade parked in a driveway.
Cragun said the impact to the Cadillac sent it 50 feet into a 1999 Ford Ranger that was parked in another parking lot south of the Cadillac.
Both of the other vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the accident.
The woman's car came to rest at about 2050 West on Harrison Boulevard, Cragun said.
A police report states that she may have been speeding.
The woman's name was not being released until family members had been notified.
Cragun said a number of different factors could have caused the accident, including a possible medical issue.
He said police will continue investigating to try to determine the cause.
