Dean L. Foxley of Syracuse will celebrate his 90th birthday at a private party with his family.
He was born on March 31, 1923, in Kaysville to Leo H. and Artell Love Foxley. He married Joy Halls on May 26, 1948, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.
He graduated from Davis High School and served in Europe during World War II for more than two years.
He was employed in civil service for 33 years and retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1975.
He is an active member of the LDS Church. His interests have been fishing, camping, hunting, water skiing, snowmobiling, his horses and ponies/cart. He enjoys working outside in his garden and helping others.
Their children and their spouses are Russell and Karen Foxley, Layne and Debbie Foxley, Larry and Luann Foxley, Wendell and LaRetta Foxley, and Kathy and Paul Thurgood.
He has 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
