MOAB -- Troopers are investigating whether a medical episode or cellphone use contributed to the death of a 92-year-old driver in Moab.

Utah Highway Patrol officials say Moab resident Bernard Broughton died at the scene of the crash about 11 a.m. Monday.

Authorities say Broughton was driving a Ford pickup on State Route 191 when it drifted toward the shoulder and hit an empty flatbed trailer.

His truck rolled and he was partially ejected from the vehicle.

Troopers say Broughton was not wearing a seatbelt.
