T-ball for boys and girls ages 4-5. Games will be Thursday evenings beginning June 6 at Pioneer Park. Cost is $20, plus $15 for a sleeved reversible blue and white jersey (if needed).
Machine pitch league is for boys in grades 1-2. Cost is $37, which includes team hat. Games will be played Tuesday nights beginning June 4.
Minor League is a machine pitch league for boys in grades 3-4. Cost is $37 which includes team hat. Minors will be played on Monday or Wednesday nights beginning June 3. Major League is for boys in grades 5-6. Cost is $52 which includes team jersey and hat. Games will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning June 4. Pony League is for boys in grades 7-9. Cost is $57 which includes hat. Games will be Monday and Wednesday nights beginning June 3. Reversible Bees jersey required.

TOUR OF UTAH: Volunteer registration under way for Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah professional cycling stage race. Close to 2,000 volunteer positions in variety of roles and locations available during race week, Aug. 6-11, 2013.

SUPERHERO EVENT 5K: And Walk on April 27 promises to be unique experience as participants will have opportunity to run in their favorite superhero costume, wear a cape that will be provided or come as their own superhero selves. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Hooper Park, 5600 S. 6300 West in Hooper. Racing begins at 9 a.m. Event will raise money for Shawnee Gallegos, who is battling breast and ovarian cancer. Event also will feature a breakfast in park and photo opportunities with superheroes. Kids may have picture taken and included into story line of their own superhero comic book.

Games will be played on Monday nights beginning June 3.

Sessions run June 3-14, June 17-28, July 8-19 and July 29-Aug. 9. Ages 12-older meet at 8 a.m.; ages 6-8 meet at 9 a.m.; ages 9-11 meet at 10 a.m.
