ROY -- A person driving while too tired was the explanation troopers were giving for a Monday evening accident that left a white sedan upside down.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the driver in the single-car accident was issued a citation.
Johnson did not have the name of the driver of the vehicle in the 5:30 p.m. accident south of the Riverdale exit on Interstate 15.
Johnson said the drowsy driver dozed off, then woke up and overcorrected.
The driver was in the No. 3 southbound lane of the interstate before making a hard right turn, hitting the barrier and rolling over.
Johnson said the driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
