OGDEN -- A 30-year-old man is facing a first-degree felony charge of aggravated burglary after forcing his way into a neighbor's home in order to attack the neighbor with a hammer, police said.

Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox said Christopher A. Shira entered the neighbor's home, on the 1000 block of Capital Street, around 1 p.m. Tuesday. The neighbor and Shira have had ongoing problems. The neighbor sprayed Shira with pepper spray.

Shira was booked into Weber County Jail on $20,000 bond, which he had not posted as of Wednesday evening.
