SALT LAKE CITY -- A fugitive captured after a series of cabin break-ins in the Utah mountains will get a preliminary hearing June 10.
An online court docket shows Troy James Knapp made a videotaped appearance from Sanpete County jail Wednesday at 6th District Court in rural Manti.
A judge will decide at the preliminary hearing whether prosecutors have enough evidence to hold Knapp for a trial.
Knapp is being held on charges filed by Sanpete and three other counties for cabin burglaries across a wide region of southern Utah.
A police helicopter flushed Knapp from a cabin April 2 at a mountain reservoir in Manti-LaSal National Forest, ending his long wilderness run.
