Farmington, developer reach accord

FARMINGTON -- City leaders have approved a memorandum of understanding with a developer in regards to compensation for a conservation easement for the Eastwood Cove Subdivision.

The city council voted unanimously to approve an accord with Ivory Homes that will require the developer to relocate a portion of the Davis Creek Trail and also stipulates the company should build a fence on the border of the north side of the trail.

Ivory will also deed a small parcel of property to the city as part of the easement agreement.
