Maria Fernanda Calderon and Andrew Jonathan Van Hook were united in marriage on April 20 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.
The bride is the daughter of Mario and Silvia Calderon of Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Parents of the bridegroom are James and Stacy Van Hook of Ogden.
The bride chose Silvia Calderon as her maid of honor. Danica Hanley, Launa Van Hook, Jessica Diaz and Vanessa Gavilanez were her bridesmaids.
Samuel Van Hook, Thomas Van Hook, Ryan Bingham, Sean Holley, Alex Orquiz and Dallin Laird performed groomsmen duties.
The bride is a graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in business management.
The bridegroom served an LDS mission in Portland, Ore. He currently studies civil engineering at the University of Utah.
The new couple will live in Ogden.
