OGDEN -- Ogden City School District has earned an award from the Utah Heritage Foundation for its work on Ogden High School.
The awards are given in recognition of preservation excellence to projects, organizations and individuals who work to preserve the past.
Ogden High School is being recognized alongside the Lindon City Community Center, the Casino Star Theater and others.
The award will be presented at a charity banquet May 9 at The Leonardo in Salt Lake City. There will be a hosted bar and silent auction to benefit the Foundation at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and awards.
Ally Isom, deputy chief of staff in the Utah Governor's Office, will be the mistress of ceremonies.
