I hate to admit it, but I was just sitting back waiting for someone to write a letter expressing my opinions. They didn't, so I'll do it myself.
My first question is: Why do voters in this great country vote for some representatives who pledge allegiance to the flag of the NRA instead of the flag of the U.S. like the rest of us do?
Second question: Why do some people vote for representatives who don't represent their constituents? Isn't that why we send them to Congress?
In my opinion, the answer is greed, the love of money. If we look at the countries in which the leaders have a Lust for money, that country isn't doing well, and some congressmen don't seem to notice or care.
My solution: If we would all pay attention to the values and intent of the people running for Congress, instead of just voting a straight ticket because someone told us to, or we don't think it matters. Well, it does matter if we want to have everyone succeeding, including those born without a silver spoon in their mouths, maybe something would get done in this beloved country that would benefit everyone. If their desire is to obtain money for themselves, we have a problem.
