SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah drivers can expect a number of summer roadwork projects as they head out on vacation in the coming months.
Notable projects likely to slow down summer routes include construction along I-80 to replace a drainage pipe in Parleys Canyon.
Travelers can also expect to see construction crews on I-15 along the South Payson interchange to Spanish Fork River.
Closed ramps and lanes will block parts of I-215 to North Temple in Salt Lake City for about two months at night and during non-commuter hours.
Workers will also put the finishing touches on a southern parkway near St. George. The 33-mile project aims to streamline travel to the St. George Airport.
Drivers can consult the Utah Department of Transportation website for other projects.
