PAYSON -- Utah Highway Patrol officials say a 13-year-old girl was expected to be taken off life support after she and three others were hit by a car north of Payson over the weekend.
Officials say pedestrian Courtney Osborn was critically injured in the crash about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Two other 13-year-olds and a 15-year-old girl were also injured and taken to the hospital.
Troopers say the teens had been having some sort of party and were crossing State Route 147 in a rural area with no street lighting. Officials say they were struck by an older-model Honda Civic driven by a 17-year-old girl.
Authorities say it doesn't appear alcohol or speeding was involved in the crash. Troopers say the Honda driver was cooperative with investigators and extremely upset about the incident.
