AMERICAN FORK -- A Utah woman is accused of assaulting her ex-partner's grandmother after losing custody of her children.
The American Fork Citizen reports that 42-year-old Jeanne Mace allegedly barged into the home of her former partner's grandmother on April 24.
Police say Mace delivered severe blows to the head of the 87-year-old woman, throwing her against a wall and on the ground.
Police say Mace recently lost custody of her two small children to the victim's granddaughter. She told the victim would she would get back at the family for taking her children.
It is unclear why Mace lost custody of her two daughters. Court records show Mace was charged in 2011 with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
