I don't usually cry during breakfast, but your story about Lincoln Masuisui brought tears to this grandmother's eyes and a lump to my throat (May 16, "Sheriff's posse joins the act"). Thank you so much for putting such a story right on the front page. What a wonderful way to start the day. And thanks, too, to the members of Weber County Sheriff's Mounted Posse, for making this day so special for a little boy's sixth birthday.
Also, a big "thumbs up" to the Ogden firefighters for their compassion for the mother duck (May 16, "15 ducklings rescued from storm drain by Ogden firefighters").
I just love D. Louise Brown's column, and I often cut out her words of wisdom and tape them to my refrigerator. Today's tidbits from her mother was no exception (May 16, "Finding wisdom in mom's little tidbits").
Love your paper!
