SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his family have bought two adjoining houses with horse barns in a Salt Lake City suburb.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that one Holladay house has a tax value of $700,000 and the other, $666,000.
The Deseret News reports that both properties are located near a house owned by son Josh Romney, a real-estate developer.
Tax and business records show the Holladay houses were bought by ADR Holdings LLC, a company that lists Mitt Romney's wife, Ann D. Romney, as an officer.
Romney sold a $5 million Deer Valley vacation house in 2009 before launching a presidential bid. His main residence has been in La Jolla, Calif., and he owns a condominium in Belmont, Mass. The family has long owned a summer resort home in New Hampshire.
