We are upset because of the closing of one of our favorite restaurants (Apr. 26, "Sizzler restaurant in Ogden closes for good"). It was located on the corner of 12th and Washington Blvd. It had been there for at least 30 years.
When the company officials went to renew the lease, they found that the land was sold and they would have to be out in a month. They were later told to get out immediately.
We happened to go there on a Saturday and were told that Sunday was the last day it would be open. The following Monday, everything was sold. One of the employees told us that we could go to Layton to the restaurant there, but it will not be the same. It's sad, but nothing seems to last forever anymore.
My husband and I would like to thank the manager and employees for their excellent service and friendship throughout the years. We will miss the association very much. Beverly Sorensen
