PLEASANT VIEW -- No injuries were reported in a 5 p.m. crash Monday that left three cars damaged and may have been caused by road rage, authorities said.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the drivers of two vehicles were involved in a dispute as a result of road rage. This confrontation resulted in slowing the traffic behind them at Mile Marker 353, just north of Pleasant View, northbound on Interstate15.
Johnson said the road-rage vehicles left the scene, but three cars that were slowed by the incident were then involved in rear-end crashes.
The drivers of two of the crashed vehicles were cited for following too close. A Jeep, a Toyota Carolla and a Saturn all were involved in the incident.
