OGDEN -- Utah is in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's top 10 list of states leading in entrepreneurship and innovation.
As a whole, the state came in at No. 4 on the list.
In its Enterprising States report, the Chamber said it took an in-depth look at the priorities, policies and programs of the 50 states that are vital for job growth and economic prosperity.
The report specifically references Ogden, citing Startup Ogden as an "example of the State of Utah and the Governor's Office of Economic Development teaming with higher education to boost economic development."
The report said that a relationship with Weber State University offers technology and business skills training to residents and to startup businesses in the community.
Startup Ogden trains entrepreneurs in high-tech continuing education courses.
