SYRACUSE -- A 30-year-old woman is accused of chasing her husband with a butcher knife during an argument Tuesday.
April Ann Beal, of Syracuse, is booked in Davis County Jail on one count of aggravated assault, a third-degree felony.
Syracuse Police Lt. Heath Rogers said Davis Sheriff's dispatchers received a call about a woman chasing a man with a butcher knife at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
When police arrived the woman did not have a butcher knife, but was upset, he said.
Rogers said police have never been called to the house before. No alcohol or drugs were involved, and there were no children at the house when police arrived.
The Davis County Attorney's Office is reviewing the case before filing formal charges in 2nd District Court.
