FARMINGTON -- The case against a Layton man charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor has been continued after his latest appearance in court.

Air Force Staff Sgt. Matthew Kris Harrelson, 35, appeared Thursday in 2nd District Court in Farmington.

The hearing has been set for June 20.

No trial dates have been set. He had entered not guilty pleas to the charges in January.

Harrelson was charged through the Attorney General's office following an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which found evidence that child pornography had been downloaded on his computer at one time.

Harrelson told investigators that he had a friend living with him several years ago and that friend had been convicted of downloading child pornography.
