LAYTON -- Prosecutors are deciding whether to file charges against a family that was setting off dry ice bombs Thursday.
Layton Police Sgt. James Petre said two boys put dry ice into bottles and closed the lids, while the parents watched at their home.
"Normally, the bottle ruptures as a result of the pressure," Petre said
No one was injured, and no other property damage was reported, he said.
But Petre said there was potential for injury and property damage to neighboring areas.
"This is not something to be taken lightly."
