On June 8, 2013 Kevin George Nutley was called home to his Heavenly Father after mowing his lawn one last time.September 25, 1957 the world was blessed with a bouncing baby boy to Boyd H Bennett and Eleanor Bennett.Kevin was such a joy to his family. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and fell right into becoming a plumber. He was currently employed at S and B Plumbing.Kevin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His favorite calling was teaching the youth or anyone willing to listen.
Kevin married Debra Parsons and had two beautiful sons that he loved and cared for deeply. They later divorced. Kevin waited “impatiently” and finally met the love of his life, Shauna. As their life started together they began building their dream home.Kevin and Shauna spent the last six years building their dream and according to Kevin it would never be done.Time went too fast and nine years of marriage just was not long enough.
He was such a hard worker and tried to instill this in his sons.Kevin’s words to his boys were “we aren’t here to have any fun”.If he wasn’t busy working or building his home Kevin would be off helping someone else.He was a master of many trades.Just looking at their home was like taking a tour through a Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
Kevin and Shauna love taking trips together. They were inseparable.Christmas time was so special. It was the time the entire family would come together and Kevin loved it.We are going to miss his prayers to bless our family at Christmas dinner which brought him to tears every year.
Kevin is survived by his wife Shauna, his sons: Kasey (Stephanie), Tyson (Kayla), his step-son Chad (Jana) Coburn, his four step-daughters: Kim (Cody) Baer, Nicole Mitton, Jamie (Jeremy) Christensen, Lyndi (Jason) Osborn, and 18 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Ken (Esther) Nutley, his two sisters: Kathy (Mike) Jones, Karen (Brad) Moore, and many nieces and nephews.Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Brady Mitton.
