Can you imagine Weber County without libraries? We, the U.S.A., that has had free lending libraries since the mid 1800s? What would our leaders be thinking if they denied a bond to bring our desperately needy libraries up to current safety and technological standards, especially since the use of libraries is steadily increasing and the need for technology is ever and ever more important? And don't look now, but our economy is not such that computers are in every home or every child's back pack.
Please, think about the placement of our students in international academic ratings. And now we are going to get rid of libraries? Insane!
We need our upgraded libraries. Vote 'yes' for the library bond issue.
