Basketball

USU GIRLS CAMPS: Spots still available for Utah state camps. Youth skills camp will take place July 16-19. Open to players entering grades K-8. Camp will be $175 per player and will run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fall individual skills day camp which will take place every Saturday from Aug. 3 to 31 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Coach Jerry Finkbeiner and his staff will provide on-court training to all campers. Camp is $150 per player.

Cycling

ULTIMATE CHALLENGE: Presented by Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, non-competitive, endurance bicycle ride for individuals and cycling groups, offers a new 113-mile route on Aug. 10, same day and same route as Queen Stage of the Tour. Recreational cyclists can experience the same demanding mountain course, starting at Snowbasin Resort and finishing at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort.

SCHNEITER'S RIVERSIDE JUNIOR CLINICS: New sessions begin June 17 and June 24. Meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Ages 7-10 meet 8-9:30 a.m.; ages 11-15 meet 9:30-11 a.m. Fee is $40. To register, call Schneiter's Riverside at 801-399-4636

FREEDOM FESTIVAL TOURNAMENT: Farr West City's annual tournament will b June 29 at Remuda Golf Course with 1 p.m. shotgun start. Cost is $45 per person, which includes food and raffles afterwards from 5-7 p.m. Extra prizes for most patriotic dressed golfers and decorated carts.
