Helen then worked at St. Vincent's Hospital which closed and the she went to a government hospital in Albany, New York she then came back and worked at a hospital in East Orange, New Jersey to be near her nephews, David and Skipper. A friend that she had met in a previous employment offered her a job at the US Public Health Hospital in Staten Island; she was able to obtain her Radiologic Technician Certification and was placed in charge of the Radiology Tech School at the Public Health Hospital where she worked until she retired.
