Joan and Gale Allred...
Gale and Joan Farr Allred of West Point celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their immediate family on a cruise to the Caribbean.
They were married on May 19, 1953, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.
Both attended Weber High School; however, they met at a Weber-Ogden Little Brown Jug football game.
Their children and their spouses are GayAnn and Brent Stuart, Ken and Cary Allred, Dane and Wendy Allred, Tami and Spence Talbot, and Shauna and Phil Cooper. They have 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Active members of the LDS Church, they served together in the Illinois Nauvoo LDS Mission; Tempe, Ariz., assigned to the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors’ Center; and back to Nauvoo, Ill. They say they had many great experiences and enjoyed serving.
They also say their greatest joy is their family. They enjoy their home, camping, golf, Arizona’s warm weather and spending time together.STORY:201306170048Joan and Gale Allred/Anniversaries/2013/06/17/Joan-and-Gale-Allred.html-1
