PARK CITY -- A nanny recently sentenced to five years of probation for child abuse in Park City has now been sentenced to four years in a Belgian prison for a similar crime.
Summit County Attorney David Brickey says Utah native Aubrey Alta Anderson could face extradition proceedings after the Belgian court's decision on Tuesday.
Brickey says Anderson was hired to care for 16-day-old twins in Belgium. She's accused of fleeing to an airport the same day doctors discovered the babies had multiple broken bones.
She was charged there in June 2011.
Brickey says Anderson advertised herself as a specialist in twins, and took on two new babies in Park City in January 2012.
They also ended up with injuries.
