WILLARD -- A 48-year-old Kaysville man was ejected from his vehicle in a rollover accident late Wednesday night.
Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the man was driving a Mazda 5 hatchback north on Interstate 15 around 11:10 p.m. when he veered off the road and crashed near Mile Marker 352, rolling the Mazda. He was the vehicle's only occupant.
A medical helicopter transported the man, who did not appear to have been wearing a seat belt, to the hospital, Johnson said. An update on the man's condition was not available as of late Thursday evening.
Johnson said the Mazda was using a temporary spare tire, which was flat when officers arrived on-scene. It's unclear if the tire contributed to the crash, but speed is not believed to have been a factor
